Health and Safety is at the forefront of what we do every day, and our Health and Safety documentation is well adapted to working in high-risk environments, whether it be residential or commercial projects.

Our systems and process are robust and meet the highest level of compliance. During any transition process with our clients we work with their H&S team to ensure that the two businesses’ policies are aligned, and processes are adapted before we start a new contract.

Aotea are a Sitewise tier 1 contractor meaning we are provided with even greater assistance with managing our subcontractors and get a greater level of overall visibility of our subcontractor network.

All Aotea subcontractors are subscribed to Sitewise and have a valid accreditation which allows us to review this at any stage via our dashboard. This dashboard can be shared with our clients at any stage to see how we are managing our subcontractor network. Aotea utilise Assura H&S software that provides clients with a single, regular monthly report.

Key Account Managers have regular meetings to discuss improvements, issues and modifications to any process with the H&S team on any project.

Our dedicated teams follows thorough health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. From installation to maintenance, we prioritise the well-being of our employees and clients, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Every two years, Aotea conducts the IMPAC Prequel assessment to determine our current state and future goals.

In order to objectively evaluate contractors and make sure they have the necessary procedures and skills to keep people safe on the job, PREQUAL brings together the experience and knowledge of some of New Zealand's top health and safety practitioners.
