Zilch - EV Charging stations

Aotea Electric Auckland were commissioned by Zilch and partner Genesis Energy to install 9 electric vehicle charging stations (enough to charge 18 vehicles) in Gaunt Street in heart of Auckland City. Aotea Electric Auckland organised the civil works required and sourced the local power to connect to the new EV chargers.

Kirsten Corson, Co-founder of Zilch said “Aotea Electric Auckland were a pleasure to deal with, and we are very happy with the installation of the new Electric Vehicle chargers on Gaunt St which are being well used by our customers coming and  going to the airport and doing round trips in the EV’s”.   Other Auckland locations include City Works Depot, Downtown carpark, Fanshawe Street Carpark and Auckland Airport.

Zilch is NZ’s only electric car sharing service offering EV’s for business and private trips,  customers just pay by the minute, by the hour, by the day. You sign up online and then access the cars via an app or card.   They also offer EV’s and chargers to businesses on a monthly rate as an exclusive fleet product based in the businesses carpark.  Both options offer an easy way to achieve measurable reductions in CO2e emissions, and a quick transition to a sustainable fleet.

Zilch launched in Christchurch in 2018 and since then has had over 85,000 trips and saved over 300 tonnes in the city and has now expanded to Auckland.  They offer business fleet EV’s right across the country.
